Review: My husband is not a fan of gas grills and we don’t really have the space to store a large pellet grill/smoker in the winter. I’m not a fan of charcoal. When I saw this I wanted it right away and bought it. I am really glad I did. It is just right for our family. The pellets that come with it are pretty harsh. I was happier with a little sampler pack of different pellets I purchased on here. Make sure you follow the advice to allow the smoke to calm down a little during the preheating before adding the meat. Because the grill is so compact the smoke flavor can be a bit intense if you are new to having smoke flavor. A half load of pellets is just right to give your food a traditional grilled taste even though it’s an electric grill.

Review: I love this grill. I was hoping to not have all the mess with a charcoal grill. We’ve probably gotten rid of 6 grills during different moves. My favorite was a George Foreman electric grill because I like to grill vegetables outside but without dealing with smoke and charcoal. It died on us after a lot of use. So this grill has fulfilled every expectation and then some. It’s windy a lot out here; I can grill out in any weather. Tried vegetables, steaks, and the airfryer. Everything came out great. Plus I bought the griddle. It’s easier to clean. I grilled breakfast. Came out excellent. Can’t wait to try smoking. My only criticism is that the plates and the air fry basket are not so easy to clean. After cooling completely, I remove grill debris with a silicone spatula. Then I soak paper towel in soapy water and clean in the grooves. Next I use silicone scrubbing pads but nothing with a rough surface. I would NOT use any metal near these plates. Saw a video and the gent was using a metal spatula. Since i plan to use this grill for years, I’m sticking with silicone-tipped utensils. Plus I will use parchment paper for metal pans if the temp is under 450. I store the plates in the plastic they came in. And the instructions say this grill is an extremely hot grill and you use thermal gloves and long handled utensils. I agree; a burn from this grill would be nasty. Overall, a fantastic grill! Highly recommended!

Review: Purchased the OG701. We bought it for our motorhome. We decided that we did not want to haul around propane tanks or deal with charcoal. So opted to try this product. So far we only used the smoker and bake setting. The convection fan that circulates, cooks the food evenly. This was our second day using it. We are finding that we love this cooker. It is only 30 lbs, and clean up is a breeze. We smoked Boneless Chicken Breast the first day. The juices remained inside the chicken. That night, we throughly enjoy the Chicken nibbling on it, we did not have anything else, such as sides. The next night we made smoked BBQ Pork ribs. We used the smoker set at 275 for 1 hr and checked our thermometer for proper cooking. We then used the bake setting with BBQ sauce for 20 minutes at 320. Again juicy and tender and non stick clean up. Super impressed with this fantastic cooker. We ordered more pellets, and the smaller crisper. Also we wanted the flat iron Griddle which is on back order for 6 to 8 weeks. We told our friend who also has a motorhome and she bought one as well. We are giving this 5 stars because of the versatility and many options for cooking up a feast. The grease trap in the drip pan located in the back, which is easy to remove and empty. The pellets last about 50 minutes at 270 degrees. Overall, this is a fantastic deal that does it all being compact and portable.
